New Read

This past week has been such a great week! Not only was it a time of togetherness but also a time for me to enjoy A LOT of reading! I had the pleasure of borrowing another book by Kristin Hannah. My friend from work finished reading Winter Garden, that I let her borrow, and she decided to go buy a few more books by Kristin Hannah. We both have found that her books are extraordinary!! They make us laugh, cry, and open our minds to life. The new book I started this week and finished today is called Night Road. It was absolutely terrific! I could not stop reading it and I was actually able to have time to sit and enjoy reading like never before. The book was a great story about a mother, her twins, and a best friend of theirs that became the ultimate enemy. It was about love and loss and the all too familiar reminders of high school and choices we all face. Sometimes the decisions we make ruin lives and sometimes they bring everyone back together. The best part of this book was the twists it had and yet they were very realistic. I love realistic fiction. It truly makes me feel every emotion possible to man! Of course, I did cry when I read this novel but what's wrong with that?! Nothing. I know that when we read we are taken to a whole new world in our mind and sometimes when we stop reading we are so moved by what we read that it makes us appreciate life that much more. I thoroughly have enjoyed the two books I have read by Kristin Hannah. I know now that I will keep up the reading with one of her other novels. I just don't know which one yet!!
